Day 1: Arrival & Kampala Cultural Highlights

Arrival at Entebbe International Airport
Visit Uganda Museum, Kasubi Royal Tombs (UNESCO World Heritage Site), and Independence Monument
Cultural dinner at Ndere Cultural Centre – traditional music, dance, and storytelling from multiple Ugandan tribes
Overnight: Hotel in Kampala

Day 2: Buganda Kingdom Heritage Tour

Visit the Kabaka’s Palace, Bulange (Buganda Parliament), and Naggalabi Coronation Site
Explore craft markets and learn bark cloth making
Optional school or women’s group visit for cultural exchange
Overnight: Kampala

Day 3: Eastern Uganda – Visit the Basoga & Sipi Communities

Transfer to Jinja – visit Source of the Nile and engage in Basoga traditional music & dance
Continue to Sipi Falls (Mount Elgon area)
Participate in a coffee farm tour: pick, roast, and taste your own cup!
Meet local youth groups, farmers, or storytellers

Day 4: Northern Uganda – Acholi Culture in Gulu

Drive to Gulu, Northern Uganda
Visit Acholi cultural village, hear war recovery stories, and join in traditional drumming or Larakaraka dance
Learn basket weaving, bead-making, and food preparation with local women
Overnight: Community-run lodge or guesthouse
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 5: Western Uganda – Bakiga/Batooro Homestay

Travel to Fort Portal or Kabale (depending on route)
Spend the day and night with a local host family
Participate in everyday life: farming, cooking local dishes (like eshabwe, matooke), milking cows, storytelling by the fire
Overnight: Homestay in local village

Day 6: Return & Community Market Visit

Morning community market visit (souvenirs, crafts, music instruments)
Return to Entebbe or Kampala with scenic stopovers
Optional visit to Mabamba Wetlands or craft centres for final shopping
