Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe / Kampala – Transfer to Bwindi

Early morning pick-up from Entebbe or Kampala
Scenic drive through Uganda’s rolling hills and tea plantations
Optional stop at the Equator line for photos
Arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in the evening
Overnight: Lodge near Bwindi
Meals: Lunch, Dinner

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Early breakfast, then head to the park HQ for briefing
Guided gorilla trekking (1–6 hrs depending on group location)
Spend 1 hour with a gorilla family – unforgettable!
Afternoon: Optional community walk or Batwa cultural experience
Overnight: Same lodge
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi – Relax & Unwind

Drive through the scenic Kigezi Highlands ("Switzerland of Africa")
Arrive at Lake Bunyonyi, famous for its 29 islands and calm waters
Afternoon at leisure: canoe ride, birdwatching, or swimming (bilharzia-free)
Overnight: Lakeside resort/lodge
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 4: Explore Lake Bunyonyi

Optional activities:
Guided canoeing to visit Punishment Island and local communities
Short hike for panoramic lake views
Zip-lining across the lake (optional)
Visit a local market or school
Afternoon: Relax at the lodge or take a sunset cruise
Overnight: Same lakeside lodge

Day 5: Return to Kampala / Entebbe

After breakfast, begin return journey
Stop at roadside craft shops and the Equator for souvenirs
Arrive in Entebbe/Kampala by late evening or connect to your flight
