Day 1: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Morning pick-up from Entebbe or Kampala
Drive through scenic landscapes: tea plantations, crater lakes, and rural villages (approx. 5–6 hours)
Arrive in Fort Portal for lunch and town tour (optional)
Late afternoon visit to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary (home to over 200 bird species and monkeys)
Overnight: Lodge near Kibale Forest (e.g. Turaco Treetops, Primate Lodge, Isunga Lodge)
Meals: Lunch, Dinner

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest

Early breakfast and transfer to Kanyanchu Visitor Centre
Briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers
Enter the forest with guides to track a habituated chimpanzee group
Experience 1 hour with the chimpanzees — observe their play, grooming, feeding, and vocalizations

Optional afternoon activity:
- Community walk
- Crater lake visit
- Birding tour
Overnight: Same lodge
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 3: Return to Kampala / Entebbe

Leisurely breakfast with views of the forest
Optional stop at a tea plantation or roadside markets
