Designed for anglers and nature lovers who want to experience fishing in Lake Victoria, Lake Albert, and especially the Nile River below Murchison Falls, home to some of the world’s largest Nile perch.

Day 1: Travel to Murchison Falls – Sunset Fishing

Early departure from Kampala or Entebbe (approx. 5–6 hours’ drive)
Lunch en route at Masindi
Enter Murchison Falls National Park and take a game drive
Late afternoon: Short fishing session at the base of the falls
Overnight: Nile Safari Lodge / Paraa Safari Lodge / Murchison River Lodge
Meals: Lunch, Dinner

Day 2: Full-Day Sport Fishing at the Nile

Full-day guided fishing experience at Baker’s Rock and Devil’s Cauldron (below the falls)
Use live bait, lures, and casting/trolling techniques
Packed lunch on the riverbank
High chance of landing Nile Perch over 50kg
All safety equipment and rods provided (or bring your own)
Overnight: Same lodge
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 3: Morning Game Drive – Optional Fishing / Relax

Morning game drive on the northern bank (spot elephants, lions, giraffes, and buffalo)
Afternoon options:
Half-day fishing
Relax at the lodge
Take a boat cruise to the top of the falls for views and birdwatching
Overnight: Same lodge
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 4: Return to Kampala / Optional Lake Victoria Fishing

Early breakfast and return drive to Kampala or Entebbe
Optional: Add half-day fishing trip on Lake Victoria from Entebbe or sunset cruise with rods
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
